As the Managing Partner of Goldfinch Wealth Management, Roy’s highest priority is to assist clients as they pursue and achieve their unique financial goals with the utmost confidence. Roy began his financial career in 2002 as a Personal and Business Financial Advisor for a nationally recognized firm. His team delivers proactive advice to create financial independence, working with individuals, families, small business owners, and corporations.
Seeking to offer his clients holistic planning and impartial advice, he founded our independent firm, Goldfinch Wealth Management, in January 2021. From developing innovative financial solutions to managing customized investment portfolios, Goldfinch Wealth Management engages with a full range of clients to decrease volatility and optimize returns.
Although he grew up in western Canada, Roy can’t imagine living anywhere other than Greenville, South Carolina. Between work, family, church and volunteering, finding time for hobbies is difficult, although he enjoys training for and competing in half-marathons and was a participant of the 1996 Olympic Summer Games on the Canadian Sailing Team.

As a Financial Advisor at Goldfinch Wealth Management, Ashton aims to deliver personalized client care and an array of services to create financial independence, planning for client’s short-term needs and long-term goals. A native of Greenville, South Carolina, Ashton began his career working for a major national firm in 2010. He has extensive experience working with small business owners, executives of large corporations, and other high-net-worth individuals to develop and implement comprehensive financial plans.
His services include investment strategy, retirement planning, risk management, stock option planning, compensation and benefits planning, and estate planning. Ashton strives to deliver exceptional advice and value to our clients by diligently seeking to understand clients’ personal circumstances, resources, needs, and goals.
In his spare time, you can most likely find Ashton on the basketball court, spending time with friends and family, losing his golf balls on the golf course, or reading a novel.
